Voluminous spheres of polished onyx form the principal structure, each linked by sculpted darkened elements that lend rhythm and restraint. The focal point is a hinged dome, pavé-set with white and yellow, as well as orange and brown diamonds, in an intricate cellular matrix. A close-up of the openwork on the interior reveals extraordinary artisanal skill: it is cast in gold using the ancient cire perdue technique and then hand-finished. Adding a touch of whimsy, a gradient of smaller golden orbs punctuated with diamond thunders can also fold into one another, allowing the necklace to transform and adapt to the uniqueness of those who wear it.
